A six hour lecture and hands-on workshop
covering fundamentals, practical application, and art of lighting for
digital video. Starting with discussions and demonstrations of the
nature and quality of light, the seminar will culminate in the
examination and creation of 3-point lighting for an interview.

the instructor: |
Michael Morlan has
been shooting, directing, and editing live and animated video and film
since 1988. He has been a professional animated narrative short
director and animator since 1995 and a short film producer
since 1996. He currently focuses on his work as a semi-pro
director of photography, lighting and lensing narratives, commercials,
and industrials. |
