As director of photography, I
worked with director, Ty Blesch, to develop a look that visually
separated the dream world sequences from that of the character's real
world. As the dreaming character pursues the "fairy princess" of
his dreams, he must overcome obstacles and mazes to reach her.
The look was inspired by the washed out,
fog-laden imagery of films like "Minority Report" and my own
recollection of dreams. After
manipulating the image with a variety of techniques in Photosohp, I
rebuilt the look using Magic Bullet for easy application in Vegas or
After Effects.
