I was engaged as gaffer for D.P. Jen White.

One of the plot points of this short is the passing of an L-train outside the windows that startles our hero into rash action. To accomplish this gag, I scratch-built a 4-sided mirror box that could be spun on a c-stand arm and pointed a 2Kw Mighty at it.

A Tweenie with diffusion and color was hidden within the television shell to produce the key.
A 2K Junior with 3x4' softbox switched on during the scene served as the room's "ceiling ilght" (Roll over the image to see the gag.)

One set wall removed for the side angles.

Grip, Justin Seyb, spinning the "L-train" mirror gag.

A bit of grippery produced a low-slung camera mount on the doorway dolly.
