produced for the 48-hour Film Project

This project was a 16-hour guerilla shoot.  Twenty teams were given forty-eight hours to write, shoot, post, and deliver a short film.  On a Friday evening, each team drew a random genre from a hat and were assigned a common set of elements that were required to appear in their film.  The elements were:

character – Les – model

prop – stuffed animal

line – "I see something I don't like."

our genre – Film Noir

As our team's videographer, I was very pleased to receive the Film Noir milieu since we could shoot with very simple yet highly stylized lighting and we could hide cheap production values in the shadows.

The production team received the shooting script at 6am Saturday and shot until 10pm that night.
